Mid Winter Bundle

he Haudenosaunee Mid-Winter Festivals began this week. Every year, after the full moon in late December marks a new year, Clan Mothers gather to organize what’s known as the Mid-Winter Festival, which is 4-5 days of Ceremonies.

Stirring of ashes by all, Great Feather Dance, Drum Dance, baby naming, personal men’s thanksgivings and a bowl game are among the activities.

The Sequoia Mid-Winter Bundle is inspired by our Mid-Winter Festival.
