Back in 2003, when I was working as an engineer, I made my very first lotion. The moment I tried it, I was hooked. I loved everything about it. From watching the raw materials transform from their liquid states to the thick creamy texture of a lotion.
Of course a batch of lotion is way too much for just 1 person, so I asked the women in the office if they would like to try some, and they absolutely loved it. I think these first reactions to a product I made, was what further encouraged me to want to continue making products.
Over the years the formula has been tweaked from the original. It now included Organic Olive Oil and the texture is not too heavy but not too light. Just right in my opinion.
As a young girl, I remember being shown Red Clover in the grass and that you could eat it. It has a really nice sweet flavor. I would do this all the time as a little girl.
This lotion is inspired from this Red Clover and the scent is sweet, but green and encapsulates what I imagine it would be as a lotion, mist, scrub, etc. The Red Clover scent stands out because I've never found another product like it.
It also happened to be my grandmother's very favorite from all the Sequoia products, so it was so nice to hear her rave about it. Yes, I know that's what grandmothers do, but I think of her now, every time we relaunch it.
