Update on New US Tariffs

We wanted to share an important update with our U.S. customers about the newest Tariffs implemented August 22, 2026. While the 10% Tariffs remain on all products (since August 2025), only a handful of products have the new Tariffs.

Lotions, body scrubs and water-based body mists are among the products that are not included in these new 50% tariff categories.

Lip Balms and Candles have an additional 50% tariff when entering the United States.

Starting October 30th, 2026, our soaps will also have the extra 50% duties. You will see the duty rate at checkout so that there are no surprises. We truly apologize to our customers, but this is out of our control.

If you do not want to pay these high tariffs, DO NOT INCLUDE ANY LIP BALM OR CANDLES OR SOAP IN YOUR ORDER.

For a small Indigenous business that proudly makes our products here at home, a 50% tariff is a significant new cost to our customers.

Our goal is to keep Sequoia accessible to our U.S. customers while continuing to make our products here, support our Indigenous team and stay true to the company we have spent more than two decades building.
