Inspiration: This soap and candle is inspired by Artwork by Paiute/Mohawk Artist Leilani Shaw who pays homage to her late grandmother's strength, style and legacy from Pyramid Lake, Nevada. Shaw, who lives in Kahnawake, Quebec Canada still often visits Pyramid Lake and is inspired by the general landscape and stories. Pyramid Lake itself features The Stone Mother, a rock formation that is considered the 'mother of all mothers' in Paiute culture and another symbol of the Desert Matriarch.Â
