Scent Family: Grounded and floral

Description: A combination of pistachio, almond aromas with delicate floral notes of heliotrope and jasmine. A decadently warm base of caramel, sandalwood and vanilla is complimented with a hint of salt to round out this vibrantly sweet aroma. 

Inspiration: As part of Sequoia's Desert Matriarch series, Sunset is one of three candles Paiute/Mohawk Artist Leilani Shaw used to pay homage to her late grandmother's strength, style and legacy from Pyramid Lake, Nevada. Shaw, who lives in Kahnawake, Quebec Canada still often visits Pyramid Lake and is inspired by the general landscape and stories. Shaw's Mohawk culture typically represents sunrises in the East while Shaw's Paiute culture represents Western Sunsets.

Sunset, Turquoise and Desert Matriarch are a 3 piece amber candle set in our Midwestern themed series titled "The Desert Matriarch Series," inspired by Shaw's Paiute roots.

Directions: Burn a maximum of 4 hours at a time, to get the most from your candle. Always burn your candle on a heat proof surface. Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" to prevent wick from mushrooming which may cause sooting or container becoming too hot. Never burn your candle all the way to the bottom, this will avoid the container from getting too hot. We recommending leaving 1/2" wax and restocking another Sequoia candle!
